4th Quarter Forecast

We are sixteen days in the 4th quarter. Which leaves us with 2 months and one week left in 2016. Sheessshh!! As I always say “time waits for no one”.

I started to reflect on all that took place so far this year. I also skipped through my journal to see what I was seeking for in Dec 2015/Jan 2016. From what I read, I was mostly seeking/writing and asking God to show me my purpose. Will this be my life long purpose? Maybe, maybe not but what I do know is that God’s will for my life is nothing short of “good, pleasing and perfect”.

Therefore, as I reflect, a lot of good things happened over the past 10 months. Situations that brought me out of my comfort zone, circumstances that taught me about God’s grace and his protection.  God protected my family and friends from any harm, although there were incidents that caused the weapons to be formed, they didn’t prosper and I’m thankful for that. I can go on and on but I’m grateful for everything that happened in my life thus far.

Now, I’m at a point where I am shifting my focus and need to reflect on what it is I can work  or catch up on. Besides my horrible memory I get overwhelmed easily. I am a to do list maker. I make a list of things I need to do. I look at the list and try to figure out how I will get it all done. Now I realized I need to break these tasks down. I also realized I don’t need to finish all 10 tasks in 7 days. I’m learning to simplify them more and focus on one at a time.

So for the next couple of weeks, I will continue to do that and see how much I can accomplish. I am challenging myself in other areas. I will share in future blog posts what I’ve experienced and learned. I will also unplug from all things social media to take away distractions.

Now I want to challenge you to reflect and think of things you want to accomplish before the year is over.

Ask yourselfWhat do I want to accomplish? What did I start and didn’t finish?

Start to make a list, prioritize and break those things into steps. We are capable of doing what we want accomplish.

Let’s be a team that wins in the fourth quarter!!!

  1. Oh my goodness!! This is so ME!!! I started this same journey a little over a year ago. You will begin to notice small changes and then drastic changes. Let God lead you! I am enjoying every bit of the change He is creating – good, bad, and ugly!
